On Friday, June 18, 2004, Jonathan Newman addressed a sold out crowd at Crossing Vineyards' Inaugural Winemaker's Dinner. Newman announced that Crossing Vineyards had been selected to do the in-store tasting at Mc Caffrey's Market PLCB store, scheduled to open in October, 2004.

Vintner Tom Carroll, Jr. topped off the evening with a private barrel tasting for Wine Enthusiast's Man of the Year, 2003.

"You should compete your 03' Viognier aged in Pennsylavnia oak," said Newman. "It's a winner."
