TRANSPORTATION POLICY

 

Crossing Vineyards and Winery accepts limos, vans and buses under certain specific conditions:
 

  • Reservations are required.

  • Arrival must occur between 11 AM and 2:00 PM.

  • Crossing’s staff reserves the right to cancel a confirmed reservation for guests who arrive more than 15 minutes late or after 2:00 PM.

  • Drivers may drop off or pick up guests only in the rear parking area behind the Tasting Room.

  • Vehicles may not idle and must park behind the winery as directed.

  • No outside food or beverages are permitted.

  • Guests who attempt to bring in outside alcohol and/or those who are visibly intoxicated will not be served. No store credit or refund will be issued.


These guidelines have been developed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all Crossing Vineyards’ guests. We appreciate your cooperation.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

 

  • Wine by the Bottle

All wine bottle sales are final; however, we will replace any bottle a customer finds unsatisfactory with one of equal or lesser value, provided the unfinished portion of the original purchase is returned to the winery.

 

  • Classic Wine Tasting

To change or cancel a reservation, email support@crossingvineyards.com  at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time.

 

You will receive an email acknowledging your request. Changes or cancellations cannot be made by phone and are not valid without a confirmation email. Store credit only will be issued. We do not offer refunds. Booking fees are non-refundable.

 

Please Note: A Classic Tasting is offered for 1-6 people. Groups of 7-18 will be served together only if a Group Wine Tasting is booked..

  • Group Wine Tastings and Wine Tastings with Lunch

To change or cancel a reservation or guest count, email support@crossingvineyards.com  at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled date and time.

 

You will receive an email acknowledging your request. Changes or cancellations cannot be made by phone and are not valid without a confirmation email. Store credit only will be issued. We do not offer refunds. Booking fees are non-refundable.

Please Note: A Group Wine Tasting is offered for 7-18 people.  Groups of 7-18 will be served together only if a Group Wine Tasting is booked. For groups of 19 or more, contact the Event Manager: events@crossingvineyards.com

  • Merchandise

Store credit only will be issued if merchandise is returned within 30 days of purchase and if a valid receipt is presented. All glassware sales are final and may not be returned for any reason.

 

  • Music Events

All ticket sales are final; tickets are not transferable to another event. No refunds or store credits will be issued for unused tickets. Performers subject to change without notice.

 

  • Classes, Celebration Tastings & Public Events

To change or cancel a reservation or guest count for a Celebration Wine Tasting, Wine Tasting with Lunch, Class or other Public Event, email support@crossingvineyards.com at least 7 days prior to the scheduled date and time.

You will receive an email acknowledging your request. Changes or cancellations cannot be made by phone and are not valid without a confirmation email. Store credit only will be issued. We do not offer refunds. Booking fees are non-refundable.

  • Groupon, Living Social, SpinSaver, TravelZoo & other Social Promotions

We will honor social promotions past their expiration dates. If the experience purchased is no longer available, we will offer one of equivalent value. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, wine or any other merchandise.

IMPORTANT: Make sure our cancellation policy works for you. COVID-19 will not qualify as an extenuating circumstance.

E-GIFT CARDS

Crossing Vineyards & Winery’s e-gift cards are valid for any merchandise or service purchase, including handcrafted wines, quality stemware, accessories, wine tasting or events. They are redeemable at the Crossing Vineyards & Winery store only. 

Important Note: E-gift cards do not expire. However, cards that have been inactive for more than three years will be subject to an accounting fee of $10 per month.

NON-DRINKERS (Designated Driver, Pregnant, Child, Under 21)

​

  • Classic Wine Tasting

Non-drinkers are welcome to visit the winery without purchasing a ticket for the tasting, and, if space allows, can join other guests in their party at the tasting table. If the tasting session is full, a non-drinker will be asked to sit in one of the adjoining rooms and can join their party when the tasting concludes. Non-drinkers may purchase soda, water, and/or snacks from our bar menu to enjoy while here. Please note that no outside food or beverages are permitted. Also note that a Classic Wine Tasting cannot be shared among guests; each paid tasting reservation is valid for one drinking guest only.

 

  • Group Wine Tasting (7-18 people)

Non-drinkers are welcome to join a group tasting at no cost, and may purchase soda, water, and/or snacks from our bar menu to enjoy while here. Please note that no outside food or beverages are permitted. Please notify the Tasting Room at (215) 493-6500 x8019 if there will be a non-drinker joining your group, so that we set the appropriate number of seats. Please note that a Group Wine Tasting cannot be shared among guests; each paid tasting reservation is valid for one drinking guest only. 

 

  • Celebration Tasting

A $5.00 discount is extended to non-drinkers for this offering.

 

  • Classes, Public Events & Dinners

No discounts are extended to non-drinkers for these events; Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

 

  • Summer Wine & Music Series

No discounts are offered to non-drinkers for these events. Non-alcoholic beverages are available for sale. Admission is free for children 12 years of age and under.

VINEYARD ETIQUETTE & CONDUCT

 

  • Alcohol Policy

Per the PA Liquor Law, no one who appears to be visibly intoxicated or who is under 21 years of age will be permitted to consume alcoholic beverages on the premises.

 

  • Children

Children are welcome and must remain with their parents or guardians at all times. Children are not permitted in the vineyard or in designated private or restricted areas as marked. Bringing children to a wine tasting is not recommended. Full payment will be required for any child attending the tasting, except for Infants and small children in strollers

 

  • Dietary Restrictions

We do not have a restaurant on-site. If you require menu substitutions for any lunch or dinner events (due to allergies or other dietary restrictions) you must notify us at least 7 days in advance. Substitutions will be a chef's selection.

 

  • Beverages

No beverages of any kind may be brought onto the winery property. This includes, but is not limited to, wine, beer, spirits, soft drinks, other non-alcoholic beverages and water. For the customer's convenience, beverages are available for sale in the wine store.

 

  • Food

No customer-provided food is permitted anywhere on the winery property. For the customer's convenience, cheese boards, charcuterie plates and assorted snacks are available for sale in the winery. However, customers may bring food to the Summer Wine & Music Series, where the use of small chairs, tables and coolers is also permitted. Clean-up and removal of all trash is the guest's responsibility. Lawn, patio and surrounding grounds are sometimes closed for private parties; check for availability.

 

  • Group Wine Tastings

Group Wine Tastings for 7-18 guests can be reserved on the website. Groups larger than 18 people must be booked through the Events Department. No outside food or beverages are permitted. No exceptions.

 

Crossing Vineyards reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who may be deemed intoxicated, unruly, or who is under 21 years of age. Guests who are observed repeatedly leaving the winery and reentering may not be permitted to rejoin their tasting and may be asked to leave. No store credit or refund will be issued.

 

  • Late Arrivals

All wine tastings, classes and other public events will start promptly at the designated time. Please plan to come at least 10 minutes prior to allow for check-in. Late arriving guests will be offered the option of joining the event in progress or forfeiting  their reservations. No store credit or refund will be issued.

  • Marriage Proposals

Crossing Vineyards & Winery is located on private property. Use of the grounds for marriage proposals is subject to management approval. All inquiries should be sent to events@crossingvineyards.com. Restrictions and site fees apply.

 

  • Noise

Crossing Vineyards & Winery is located in a residential area, and noise levels are subject to monitoring in accordance with the township ordinance. Outside amplification of any kind is prohibited (including, but not limited to, stereos; car stereos when a car is not in motion; iPod amplified from a speaker; cell phone streaming music; etc.)

 

  • Pets

Crossing Vineyards is dog friendly on the outside grounds only. Due to Health Department regulations animals are not permitted inside any winery buildings. Dogs must be leashed and controlled by their owners at all times. Please be courteous and pick up after your dog. Owners are responsible for supplying their own water and bowls for their dogs. Dogs who are barking or exhibiting any aggressive behavior must be removed from the premises.

Cats or any other type of animals are not permitted at Crossing Vineyards.

 

  • Photography

No professional photography is permitted on the property without prior approval. All inquiries should be sent to events@crossingvineyards.com. Restrictions and site fees apply.

*Personal photography is permitted with the following limitations:

                  *No tripods 

                  *No photography within vineyard rows  

                  *Time limit: 10 minutes 

  Management reserves the right to determine if the photography taking place is a photo shoot.

​

  • Drones

Due to noise, life safety concerns and potential property damage, Crossing Vineyards and Winery currently prohibits the use of unmanned aircraft drones on winery property.

 

  • Restricted Areas

Some areas of the 20-acre estate are private and restricted. Customers are not permitted in the main vineyard and must adhere to signage designating private areas as marked. During special events and weddings, additional portions of the grounds may be restricted from public access.

 

  • Smoking

Smoking is prohibited, except in the designated area in front of the Tasting Room. Pipes, cigars, e-cigarettes and vaping devices are strictly prohibited.​​

 

SHIPPING

​

  • Order Minimum

Crossing Vineyards requires a three bottle minimum for any shipped order. There is no minimum for pickup orders.

​

  • Adult Signature

Crossing Vineyards requires an adult signature for all shipped orders. This means the person who purchases and/or receives the wine must be 21 years of age. Proof of age is required. FedEx will make a maximum of three delivery attempts. Please track the location of your package to ensure that someone 21 years of age or older is available to sign for it. If no adult is typically present at your home during the day, we suggest sending the package to a place of business.

 

  • Undeliverable Order

Fed Ex will charge a $20 fee to correct a missing street address or apartment number. If your order is returned as undeliverable, you will be charged both for the return shipping to the winery and for the cost of reshipping the package to you. No cancellations are permitted on returned orders. No refunds or store credits will be issued for returned orders.
