Wine Club FAQs

How do I join Crossing Vineyards' Wine Club?

Enroll online so your membership becomes effective on the next seasonal selection processing, or join in person in our Tasting Room to enjoy your membership benefits right away with your very first purchase.

What are the requirements to be a Wine Club member?

There is only one: purchase your case of wine seasonal selection every quarter. A 20% Wine Club discount is applied to that purchase. The processing dates are the first Mondays of March, June, September and December. You can then pick up your seasonal selection any time after, before the next selection is processed.

What is the cost of joining the Wine Club?

There is no enrollment fees nor recurring dues. The cost of the Wine Club membership is the cost of the seasonal case selection that is required to be purchased. And since you select your own wines, the cost may vary. Please note that a 20% Wine Club discount is applied to each seasonal case selection purchase.

How do I get charged for my seasonal quarterly selections?

If you pre-selected your wines before the processing date (you will receive emails 2 to 3 weeks ahead of time) your credit card on file will be charged for the wines you selected only. If you do not pre-select your wines before the processing date, your credit card on file will be charged an advance payment of $200 ($225 is your wine is shipped to you) which will be applied toward your selection purchase when you come pick up your wines later. If your total is more, you will owe the balance due, if it is less, a refund for the surplus paid will be made to you.

What happens if I can't come to pick my seasonal case selection up?

If you are unable to come pick-up a current seasonal selection, you can either request to have it shipped to you (a nominal shipping fee of $25 will be added) or you can pick it up the next season along with the new selection so you can catch up with the Wine Club membership requirement. Please note that if selections are not picked up for 2 seasons, they will automatically be shipped to you (the $25 shipping charge will be added for each case of wine).

What are the Wine Club membership benefits?

Wine Club members can enjoy year-long membership benefits as well as seasonal perks. Please note that each seasonal case selection requirement must be fulfilled before receiving membership benefits for that season. Year-long benefits include: - Complimentary tastings for you and up to 3 guests, any time during our regular tasting hours. No limits on how many time you can visit us. - 20% discount on each seasonal case selection. - 20% discount on any other bottle of wine purchases, to take home or to consume at the winery. - 25% discount on multi-case purchases. Note: the seasonal case selections are not counted in multi-case purchases, which remains subject to the normal 20% discount. - discounted nominal shipping charges is you want to ship wine to yourself or others: $15 for 3 to 5 bottles, $20 for 6 to 9 bottles, $25 for 10 to 12. Seasonal perks: - 2 complimentary ticket to any or all our Summer concerts, with advanced reserved seating available for you and your guests (limited to total seating capacity). - Seasonal Members-Only tastings and/or pairings. - Discounts or complimentary tickets on selected events when available.

How do I cancel my Wine Club membership?

You can cancel after remaining in the WIne Club for 4 seasons so you have a chance to enjoy all the benefits throughout a full year. You can cancel anytime after your 4 seasonal selections have been made. Simply let us know by sending an email to wineclub@crossingvineyards.com. Please note that cancellations are not retro-active and if a seasonal selection has already been processed but you have not selected nor picked up your wine yet, no refund will be issued. Cancellations are effective as of the date of the receitp of the request. All past selections paid but not picked up must be picked up.

I don't want to cancel definitively but I need to put put my membership on hold temporarily, can I do that?

Yes. We understand that if you cannot drink wine for a certain period of time for medical or other reasons, you can temporarily suspend your Wine Club membership. Simply send us and email to wineclub@crossingvineyards.com to let us know. Your membership benefits will be put on hold. Any past selection that were processed but not picked will remain credited to your Wine Club account however no refund can be issued. Your membership will be re-activated upon request.

How do I know it is time for the seasonal selection?

Seasonal selections are processed the first Mondays of March, June, September and December, each year. Your Wine Club selection can be picked up any time after each processing date. 2 emails are sent to the members in the 2 to 3 weeks prior the processing dates. These emails includes a button/link to enable each member to make their own wine selection online for their 12 bottles. A third email is sent on the day of the processing to let members know that their card has been charged, either for their order if they have pre-selected their wines, or for the $200 ($225 for shipped-to members) advance credit that will be applied toward their order if they have not pre-selected their wine online. If you do not receive these emails in your regular inbox, please check your spam/bulk folder: if there, kindly flag them as "not spam" so your email system will recognize future messages as legitimate. If you do not receive these emails at all, please let us know at your earliest convenience.

I received the Wine Club email to make my selection online, but the button/link says I cannot make my selection, what happened?

Online pre-selection is available to members only prior to the processing date for any given seasonal selection. If you are using the button/link to select your wine after the processing date (first Monday of March, June, September and December), this feature will be disabled. To select your wine, you must either email us your choice of 12 bottles to wineclub@crossingvineyards.com, or simply visit the winery and make your selection in person.

I pre-selected my wine online but when I came to pick it up at the winery, my selection was not ready, why?

When you pre-select your seasonal Wine Club case selection online in the 2 to 3 weeks before the processing date, it is not charged until that date. Once processed, all seasonal selections are assembled only when a members comes in person to pick it up. We unfortunately cannot assemble and store all the selections for everyone. However, if you know you will be coming to the winery on a specif day, you can of course email or call us with your selection a few days before and your wine will be waiting for you.

Do I need to make reservations for my complimentary Wine Club tastings?

Yes. Wine Club complimentary tastings are offered during our regular seated tastings. Reservations must be made in advance and are subject to seating capacity. Please call us or email us at wineclub@crossingvineyards.com.

How do I receive my membership benefits?

Any time you visit us, email us or call us, kindly identify yourself as a Wine Club member. Our staff will then know right away to apply any discount to your purchase or order, if applicable. Some membership benefits vary during the year. Each season we email a Wine Club newsletter with details to members. You can also contact us any time with any questions you may have or consult our website Membership page.

I only like certain wines, will I be able to select them each season for my selections?

Availability of our wines is not guaranteed. Although we thrive to insure that all the wines on our list are always available, it may happen from time to time that we sell out of one or more. We cannot issue refunds for the advance credit charged ($200 or $225 for ship-to members) if your favorite wine is not available. We encourage you to try other varietals or similar wines.

Can I pick up my seasonal selections any time, before or after the scheduled processing dates?

Because the quarterly seasonal selections are processed on specific dates (first Mondays of March, June, September and December) we kindly ask our members to pick their wine within a few weeks, before or after these processing dates. If you want to pick up your seasonal selection before the processing date, we allow up to 3 weeks in advance (during February, May, August or November). Please do make sure to tell our staff that you are picking up the upcoming selection early so we process your order accordingly and avoid a duplicate charge. If you are picking up your selection after the processing dates, we allow up to 12 weeks (or until the next selection processing date). If for some reason you are not able to pick up any selection before the next one is processed, we kindly request that you catch up and pick up the past and current selections on your next visit. We will ship any past selections that are not picked for 2 seasons (a $25 shipping charge will be applied per selection). No refund will be issued for any advance credit charged and not applied toward seasonal wine selections. An account maintenance fee may be assessed for membership that are inactive for several seasons.
