Crossing Strikes Gold in Jefferson Cup Competition

The Fourteenth Annual Jefferson Cup took place on November 21 and 22, 2013, in Kansas City, Missouri. The Jefferson Cup is an invitational in which over seven hundred wines, which exemplify top viticulture and winemaking throughout America, are pre-selected to compete.

This year, out of over seven hundred chosen wines, the judges selected just one hundred sixty-seven that they believed were truly excellent, roughly equivalent to Gold Medals in other competitions. Those will receive medallions announcing them as “Wines of American Excellence”.

Crossing Vineyards' highly decorated Cabernet Franc 2006 has received this distinction. Kudos to our winemaker! (Limited supply is available in the Tasting Room and On-Line)
