Crossing Scores More Medals in Lodi
For the fourth year in a row, Crossing Vineyards brought home the hardware from The Consumer Wine Awards at Lodi, one of the only wine competitions in which the judging panel includes not just wine professionals, but "real" wine drinkers as well.
Crossing's highly decorated Merlot '09 earned a silver medal, and the popular Pinot Noir Reserve '09 won bronze.

Takes Four to Tango
Crossing Vineyards' spectacular 14 night cruise to South America proved to be the trip of a lifetime for Don and Joyce Maloney and Crossing's Owners Tom and Chris Carroll.
The group enjoyed a 14 day cruise on the Celebrity Infinity, which included classes on the Wines of Argentina and Chile, an on board wine and cheese reception and a private excursion to vineyards and wineries in Uruguay.

On a Roll...Crossing's Merlot Wins for Best Red Wine
in PA Wine Excellence Competition 2013
Crossing Vineyards Merlot '06 was recently named Best Red Wine in Pennsylvania in the Wine Excellence Competition sponsored by the Pennsylvania Wine Society. Merlot '09 also made the Top Ten list.
2 Estate wines, Chambourcin Reserve and Vidal Blanc Late Harvest '09 were included among the top 20.

Crossing Wins 2013 Governor's Cup...Yay!
Crossing Vineyards celebrated the beginning of its tenth anniversary year by accepting the highest award given in the PA Farm Show Wine Competition. The 2013 Governor's Cup for Fruit Wine was awarded to Wild Berry, one of Crossing's first (and most popular) wines. Cheers to our very talented winemaker!

Reds Rule at Jefferson Cup Invitational
Medals of American Merit for 2009 Pinot Noir Reserve and 2009 Merlot were awarded to Crossing Vineyards in the recent The Jefferson Cup Invitational. This prestigious competition has celebrated its thirteenth year as the only contest honoring the best of the best among wineries from all of America’s wine regions.
Each year the judges select great wines from across America; the 2012 competition included wines from twenty-three states.
At the end of the second day of this year's tasting, November 18th, wines from twelve different states had captured top honors.

Cabernet Franc Earns More "Hardware"
Crossing Vineyards' highly decorated Cabernet Franc recently earned a silver medal for its 2008 vintage in the Sommelier Challenge held in September in San Diego, California.
More than 800 wines from 13 countries were evaluated by a team of certified sommeliers from New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego. 2012 marks the fourth consecutive year that Crossing Vineyards' wines have been recognized in this prestigious international competition

Wine Institute's "Gang of Six" Returns from Voyage "Down Under"
Crossing Vineyards' recent "Wine Lover's Voyage" to New Zealand Australia proved to be the trip of a lifetime for Dick and Mary Sherwood, Pat and Dean Long and Crossing's Owners Tom and Chris Carroll. The group enjoyed a 12 day cruise on the Celebrity Century, which included a side trip to wineries near Auckland, pre-cruise and on-board classes on the Wines of New Zealand and Australia, and a wine and cheese reception.

Two Crossing Wines Make The Top Ten List
in PA Wine Excellence Competition
For the the third consecutive year, Crossing Vineyards was one of a handful of wineries honored in the 2012 Wine Excellence Competition sponsored by the Pennsylvania Wine Society. Crossing's 2008 Cabernet Merlot blend and its 2008 Merlot were named as two of ten finalists for "Wine of the Year." Crossing's estate grown and bottled Chambourcin 2008 made the top twenty list and earned honorable mention in the contest.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Harrisburg Hilton on January 15 at 2PM.
